Best time for this is anywhere from one to two hours before a ceremony. One hour if just the two of you with no bridal party formals and two hours if the two of you and bridal party formals. Some guests typically arrive anywhere from one hour to a half hour early.

Regardless of start times most weddings will start anywhere from ten to twenty minutes late. Some guests run into traffic, issues with direction, parking or just a long walk from the car. If things go off schedule I can always make up that time during formal photos :)

This is when the bride and groom get to have a more intimate interaction before the start of their wedding. Photos prior to the ceremony can be fun, creative and an awesome ice breaker for the day.

The more time given for your wedding photos will result in better results and give more time for group photos and bridal party photos. These are the photos that you will have for the rest of your life is what I always like to tell people. This is just a general idea of the time you would like to commit and you are not obligated to adhere to times on the wedding day.
