Broken 50d

So while I was tightening the battery grip for my Canon 50d the plastic parts got stripped and I was unable to either tighten or loosen the grip. So theres three options, send it to Canon and have them repair it for a hundred dollars or more. Second option is removing bottom screws and slowly pulling apart the grip and hoping I can find replacement parts for the inner workings. The third option was to use a hack saw and take it off.

You guessed it, I chose the third option.

It took a few minutes because I was trying to minimize any damage to the camera itself. The camera was still scratched a bit on the bottom. But I like to look at it as saving $100+ dollars.
